Roz Brewer Talks College Aid, Walgreens During Covid and Retail

Spelman College Chair Emerita Rosalind "Roz" Brewer, former CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance, says that she "never looked back to the lab" after moving from working as an organic chemist at Kimberly-Clarke to moving to the corporate side of the business. Speaking to Romaine Bostick at Bloomberg New Voices in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, Brewer says that the timing of her joining Walgreens during the Covid-19 pandemic gave her the best chance to make changes, as times of crisis often provide the best opportunities to do so.
