From the stock market to government debt and the greenback, investors enjoyed gains most of where they looked on Thursday, closing up their holiday-shortened week. Information Technology was the best performing sector for the day in the moments before the close up nearly 3%, a gain captured by the popular iShares U.S. Technology ETF.
