The stock market was in a holding pattern ahead of Kevin Warsh’s first Federal Open Market Committee meeting press conference. The Dow was up 125 points, or 0.2%, after hitting another record on Tuesday. May retail sales crushed expectations with 0.9% growth, but the FOMC meeting was all investors could think about.
