The Dow Turns Lower as Wall Street Chases Chips, Other Momentum Stocks

Wall Street can’t shake its love of chasing momentum stocks. The Nasdaq rallied 1.3% on Monday, while the S&P 500 gained 0.6%. The Dow was down 73 points, or 0.1%. The Russell 2000 was up 0.8%. The market was solidly in risk-off mode, with semiconductors, crypto, and small-caps among the big winners.
