All three major indexes spent the day inching toward fresh record highs as oil futures seemed to see an end in sight for the Iran war. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed up 0.1% to a new high of 26,674.73 on Wednesday. Today’s market wins were largely driven by the fact that oil futures were hovering at a six-week low on the news that the U.S. and Iran seem to be heading toward a deal to end the conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
