Proto Labs a company that prototypes and manufactures difficult to make parts, reported better-than-expected first-quarter earnings with the help of artificial intelligence and a new strategy. Wall Street was looking for about 40 cents in EPS and sales of $135 million, according to FactSet. Wall Street currently projects 47 cents in EPS and $144 million in sales.
