Stock Futures Slide With Markets on Edge Ahead of Big Tech Earnings

Stocks were on course to open a touch lower on Monday, with investors seemingly reluctant to make any major moves ahead of a slew of Big Tech earnings and a Federal Reserve interest-rate decision. S&P 500 futures slipped 0.1% and contracts tied to the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 were flat. Both the S&P and the Nasdaq hit record closing highs at the end of last week, powered higher by Intel and other chip stocks.
