Uber Stock Jumps. It May Be Placing a Big Bet on Robo-Taxis.

Ride-hailing pioneer Uber is leaning into robo-taxi technologies. Uber is planning to spend $10 billion on self-driving cabs, according to the Financial Times, which included $2.5 billion in equity stakes in self-driving car companies and $7.5 billion to build its own robo-taxi fleet. Uber didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
