Averos Strategies on Iran War, Upcoming Trump-Xi Summit

Jasmine El‑Gamal, Founder and CEO of Averos Strategies, say the US and Iran are both reluctant to make concessions to end their conflict, as each side believes it’s in a stronger position. Speaking on the sidelines of the HSBC Global Investment Summit in Hong Kong, the former adviser to the US Department of Defense also says the upcoming Trump–Xi summit could provide leverage for President Trump to work with partners to help dial down tensions.
