Stocks Surge at the Open. Peace Hopes Give the Market a Boost.

Stocks rallied after the latest headlines out of Iran suggested the Trump administration is looking to wind down the war. The Nasdaq Composite was up 1.5%. The Wall Street Journal reported that the president has told aides he's willing to end the war without reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
