US stocks (^DJI, ^IXIC, ^GSPC) closed Friday's session in positive territory to end the trading week with gains across all three of the major averages, led by the Nasdaq Composite's 2.2% weekly surge that was buoyed by Amazon's (AMZN) post-earnings rally.
