Asian shares rise, taking their cue from Wall Street's winning streak

Asian shares rose on Thursday, taking their cue from Wall Street, where a winning streak extended to a fourth straight day. The future for S&P 500 and that for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were nearly unchanged. Japan’s Nikkei 225 added 1.2% to 50,167.10 as investors bet that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates at its Dec. 10 meeting.
