Hyundai CEO Discusses Immigration Raid on Georgia Plant

Hyundai Motor CEO Jose Munoz discusses the September raid on a Hyundai Motor-LG Energy Solution battery plant under construction in the US state of Georgia. “I got a phone call from the White House apologizing,” he tells the audience. He adds that the governor of Georgia “called me and said I don’t know what happened, this is not state jurisdiction.” Munoz speaks on stage at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore.
