US Pays Highest Yield on 30-Year Debt in Quarter of a Century

Patrick McHenry, former Republican congressman from North Carolina and former House Financial Services Committee chairman, said that Thursday's bond sale is a 'wake up sign' for the country on government debt and deficit, as the US government sold 30-year bonds at the highest rate since 2001.
