The consumer price index, out at 8:30 a.m. ET, and Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh's testimony to Congress at 10 a.m. will grab Wall Street's attention as resurgent oil prices raise the odds of a near-term rate hike. While President Donald Trump says that the U.S. has taken control of the key oil shipping route, Iran is testing that declaration, targeting two tankers in the Strait. A big IBM warning and earnings from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and other bank giants also are shifting stock futures.
