Bitcoin and popular altcoin XRP fell early Wednesday as the crypto rally appeared to take a pause. Digital assets have had a strong start to 2026 after a dismal final few months of last year. Cryptos moved higher earlier this week, in tandem with the U.S. stock market and gold following the American military action to capture Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro.
