After spending most of this year marking year-to-date losses, it appears that the fortunes of Dow Jones Transportation Average have improved. Better known as the Dow Transports, this index is made up of 20 transportation stocks, such as Uber Technologies, UPS, and others. It is up for the past eight days and on pace for its longest winning streak since Oct. 26, 2021, when the index rose for nine straight trading days.
